Freeosk is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. Our ideal candidate has experience with BI tools (QuickSight preferred), SQL, data visualization, and AIpowered analytics tools.
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team to address critical operational risks and capacity constraints. This role will eliminate our current single point of failure in BI operations, reduce burnout risk for the BI Director, and enable strategic advancement into predictive analytics capabilities. The Data Analyst will leverage AIpowered tools to deliver enhanced analytical outputs and support the organizations datadriven decision making.
We work in a distributed environment. Our office is in Chicago, but you can be located within the continental United States. There will be travel required to our Chicago office from time to time.
Key responsibilities for this role…
BI Tool Administration & Support: Share responsibility for system administration, user support, and technical maintenance of BI platforms
Dashboard Development: Lead creation of sample and template dashboards and provide thought leadership in data visualizations
Dataset Management: Oversee data preparation, validation, and organization for analytical consumption
Descriptive & Diagnostic Analytics: Take ownership of datamart and enterprise dashboard projects
Leverage AIpowered tools like Amazon Q and QuickSights ML insights for enhanced productivity
Your skills, background and experience include…
35 years of relevant data analysis or BI experience
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field preferred
Extensive experience with BI tools (QuickSight preferred)
Understanding of data warehouse concepts and data modeling
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
Portfolio of demonstrated examples of dashboards or data storytelling work
Experience with data preparation and ETL processes preferred
Familiarity with AIpowered tools (AWS SageMaker, ChatGPT for Analysis) preferred
