About the Role

Dragonfli Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced OT Asset Visibility and Security Engineering Lead to support our client in safeguarding its Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure. This lead position plays a critical role in protecting the digital network, connected OT assets, hosted applications, and operational systems that power our client’s mail and package handling nationwide.

As the technical lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team implementing clients cybersecurity strategy within OT environments. This includes leading the design and deployment of visibility and control solutions, guiding technical decisions, aligning with architectural standards, and ensuring project execution within deadlines and scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical lead for OT asset visibility and cybersecurity engineering initiatives across OT infrastructure.
  • Guide and manage the workload of a cross-functional technical team, ensuring balanced task allocation and timely project delivery.
  • Lead solution design, integration, and implementation aligned with enterprise architecture and USPS cybersecurity strategy.
  • Collaborate with leadership, enterprise architects, and strategy teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Engineer and deploy asset visibility tools to enhance OT hardware/software asset inventory and security controls.
  • Integrate and support OT security tools across multiple domains, including:
  • Network Access Control
  • USB Device Control
  • File Integrity Monitoring (FIM)
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Security Incident Investigation Support
  • Provide subject matter expertise in secure system administration for both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Design and manage scalable, secure OT-related databases and integrations.
  • Participate in enterprise risk assessments and remediation strategies for OT environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 13+ years of OT cybersecurity experience, including technical leadership roles.
  • Strong track record of engineering and deploying asset visibility solutions in large-scale enterprise or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Proven experience working in complex OT environments across both security and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience with the following tools/technologies:
  • Forescout
  • Armis Centrix
  • Splunk (including development of knowledge objects)
  • Windows and Linux system administration
  • Database design and implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as:
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA
  • GIAC (GICSP, GRID)
  • CEH, CPTE, RHCE
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to develop and interpret architectural diagrams and flowcharts.
  • Experience building schedules and step-by-step technical implementation plans.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
