Responsibilities

Our crypto wallet is used by millions of people to access apps and financial services built on the Solana blockchain. As a DevOps Engineer (App Release Management), youll focus on building robust CICD pipelines and managing the lifecycle of application releases across mobile and web platforms. Your role will prioritize reliable, repeatable deployments and infrastructure optimization, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of our applications.

This role is remote; however, we’re only open to candidates based in US timezone

  • CICD Pipeline Management: Build, optimize, and maintain CICD pipelines for automated deployments. Implement automated build, test, and release processes using modern DevOps tools.

  • Release Coordination: Define and manage release cadences (weekly, biweekly). Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth deployment cycles. Establish clear deployment criteria and manage gonogo decisions.

  • Build & Version Management: Maintain semantic versioning practices. Manage release branches, hotfixes, and ensure build reproducibility.

  • PlatformSpecific Deployment: Automate and streamline deployments for: iOS: Xcode, App Store Connect, TestFlight. Android: Android Studio, Google Play Console. Web Extensions: Chrome Web Store, Firefox Addons

  • Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting deployments. Monitor infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security.

  • Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement effective monitoring and alerting solutions. Track deployment health metrics and respond promptly to incidents.

  • Quality Assurance & Automation: Establish and enhance QA processes, ensuring adherence to industryaccepted best practices. Drive test automation for product releases, creating efficient test plans and automation scripts integrated into the CICD pipeline. Perform and guide performance, stress, and endtoend testing.

  • Compliance & Guidelines: Ensure compliance with platformspecific policies (e.g., Apple’s App Store Guidelines, Google’s Developer Policies). Uphold accessibility standards and manage age ratings and content descriptors.

  • Monitoring & Feedback: Track key metrics such as crash rates and user feedback postrelease. Monitor app store reviews and ratings, providing insights for continuous improvement.

    • Qualifications
      • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on app release management.

      • Proven experience managing CICD pipelines and deploying applications for mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms.

      • Strong experience with automation and infrastructure tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

      • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate deployment tasks.

      • Solid understanding of build reproducibility, semantic versioning, and branching strategies.

      • Experience troubleshooting deployment issues, conducting root cause analysis, and documenting clear solutions.

      • Strong communication and collaboration skills within crossfunctional teams.

      • QA experience, particularly in test automation, is a significant advantage.

      • Previous experience with web3, crypto, fintech, or consumerfacing tech.

      • Background or familiarity with software development, even if through personal projects.

                  The target base salary for this role will range between $200,000 to $250,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors (such as location) at the point in time of offer.
