We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Agriculture Teacher to deliver engaging and practical instruction in agricultural science and related subjects. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop technical skills and theoretical knowledge in modern farming, agribusiness, environmental sustainability, and agricultural technology. This role includes classroom instruction, handson lab and fieldwork, and participation in extracurricular agricultural programs such as FFA or 4H.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in agricultural science, horticulture, soil science, animal science, agribusiness, and environmental stewardship.
Integrate realworld applications and handson learning into the curriculum using school farms, greenhouses, labs, and industry visits.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and digital tools to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
Develop and update instructional materials in alignment with school, state, and national standards.
Promote STEM, sustainability, and technology integration in agriculture education.
Design and manage student projects, fieldwork, and researchbased learning.
Supervise and mentor students in agricultural clubs, competitions, and leadership activities (e.g., FFA, 4H).
Provide academic guidance, monitor progress, and maintain records of student performance.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Collaborate with faculty, parents, and local agricultural organizations to enhance learning experiences.
Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, internships, and community partnerships.
Maintain equipment, manage classroomlab supplies, and oversee use of agricultural facilities.
Bachelors degree in Agricultural Education, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
Valid teaching license or certification in Agricultural Education (as required by state or region).
Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, tools, and technologies.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
Ability to motivate and engage high school or vocationallevel students.
Masters degree in Agricultural Education, Curriculum Design, or Educational Leadership.
Experience teaching in a school or vocational training setting.
Active participation in agricultural organizations (FFA, 4H, Farm Bureau, etc.).
Familiarity with school farmlab management and safety protocols.
