POSITION SUMMARY

Money Movement systems are businesscritical components to EarnIn’s success. We manage systems that provide realtime and scheduled money transfers, facilitating the ability to track outcomes, reconcile discrepancies, and respond to returns, chargebacks, and other events. We seek experienced, collaborative, and resourceful seniorlevel engineers to join our backend teams. As a senior engineer, you will work crossfunctionally with various teams and contribute to the design and development of our backend services.

This position will ideally be hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site, though a remote arrangement is possible. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

WHATLL DO

• Drive the design and implementation of new features. Break down complex problems into their bare essentials, translate this complexity into elegant design, and create highquality, maintainable code.
• Make a meaningful impact on the lives of our community members.
• Create and maintain test automation to enable continuous integration and development velocity.
• Design & deliver robust microservice integrations via RESTgRPC APIs and messaging patterns (eventsqueues)
• Collaborate with and mentor other engineers while providing thoughtful guidance using code, design, and architecture reviews.
• Work crossfunctionally with other teams, including data science, design, product, finance, accounting, and analytics.
• Debug production issues across our services infrastructure and multiple levels of our stack.
• Work with distributed systems & services and care passionately about producing highquality code.

• WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years of delivering value through software in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience working in microservice architectures is required.
  • Proficient in at least one modern programming language and able to understand more than one, we currently work in C#.
  • Handson experience working with SQL databases.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
  • Experienced in developing and executing functional and integration tests.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Being selfmotivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
