About the Role 

You will be a lead in the Data Analytics team, with a mix of technical and project management responsibilities. You will work effectively with data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, product managers and commercial stakeholders. You will be integral in completing in-depth technical analysis, presenting results, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring the timely and effective delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead exploration of complex datasets (including geospatial data) to uncover trends and insights
  • Design, develop and own dashboards and reports that track key business and operational metrics
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of analytics initiatives ensuring they meet business objectives and stakeholder needs
  • Act as a point of contact for project updates, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication across all relevant stakeholders
  • Identify potential roadblocks in project delivery and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes
  • Engineer robust data pipelines and transformation workflows to ensure reliable, high-quality data is readily available for analytics and decision-making
  • Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business and our customers by effectively communicating results to cross functional groups
  • Mentor and support team members, conducting code reviews, pairing sessions and workshops to cultivate a collaborative culture

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years experience in a Data Analytics role managing end-to-end projects,  ideally within a fast paced B2B environment
  • Hold a BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Science or other related technical field
  • Highly proficient in SQL and familiar working with cloud-based data-warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Skilled at designing, building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools
  • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering analytics initiatives in production environments
  • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights
  • Effective communicator who can clearly explain complex topics to a variety of audiences
