Job description

This is a remote position.

The position is contracted through either our UK or Ireland entities. You must have full right to work in either of these locations.

Kyckr is an innovative and rapidly scaling data and SaaS company, providing business verification services to Financial Crime teams in banks, law firms, payments service providers and other regulated entities. Our solution is a single access point to a live network of over 300 global corporate registries, through which we provide accurate data, integrated with innovative workflow tools. We were recently named a ‘Category Leader for KYC Data Solutions’ by Chartis Research and after a year of record growth, have big plans to expand.

We are looking for a talented and driven Intermediate Software Engineer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our enterpriselevel applications and services. Youll be working primarily with .NET (C#) and SQL Server, building APIs and backend logic to support dynamic, scalable solutions.

Working with alumni of some of the mostinnovative tech companies on the planet, you will gain significant exposure to strategic activities and join the ground floor of a company with big plans and a genuine social purpose.

As a Kyckr Software Engineer you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust .NETbased applications and APIs.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in C#.
  • Develop and optimize queries, stored procedures, and database structures in SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and deliver software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
  • Assist in integrating APIs and thirdparty services.
  • Contribute to system architecture and design discussions.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality and best practices.


    • Requirements
      Essential

      • 2–5 years of professional software development experience
      • Strong proficiency in .NET C# development
      • Solid experience with SQL Server: writing queries, stored procedures
      • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
      • Familiarity with Gitbased version control systems
      • Strong problemsolving and debugging skills
      • Good communication and collaboration abilities

        • Desirable

          • Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage)
          • Frontend development experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks
          • Exposure to CICD pipelines and DevOps practices.
