The Role

This is a handson, highimpact role at the heart of our business. You’ll run key parts of our financial engine and work crossfunctionally to support our next phase of growth. You’ll take on real responsibility from day one and gain exposure to the strategic levers that drive a modern software company, all while ensuring our financial operations are accurate, efficient, and built to scale.

What you’ll own
  • Daytoday finance operations: Manage payments, expenses, payroll (UK, IE, and beyond), and cash flow. Maintain clean, timely records and ensure vendors, partners, and employees are paid accurately and on time.

  • Financial reporting & insights: Own monthly reporting (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet), build dashboards, and help leadership make datadriven decisions. Support board reporting and drive visibility into SaaS metrics.

  • Commercial support: Partner with Sales and CS on pricing, billing, contract review, and collections. Ensure commercial agreements meet financial and legal standards.

  • Compliance & external partners: Liaise with accountants, auditors, and banks. Ensure timely filings, clean audits, and compliance with local requirements.

  • Systems & process improvements: Own finance tooling (Xero, Stripe, HubSpot) and improve internal workflows to increase automation, clarity, and control.

    • What makes you a great fit
      • You have 2–4 years of experience in finance, ideally in a highgrowth startup, scaleup, or at a toptier professional services firm (e.g. Big Four or equivalent);

      • You’re detailoriented, structured, and calm under pressure;

      • You’ve worked across payroll, payments, monthend close, and reporting;

      • You’re not afraid to dive into spreadsheets, SaaS metrics, or complex dashboards;

      • You can communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and nontechnical teams;

      • You’re highly accountable and proactive, you’ll often spot the problem before others do;

      • You’re qualified or partqualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have a strong working knowledge of core finance disciplines;

      • Bonus points if you have experience with financial modelling, forecasting tools, Stripe, HubSpot, or basic scripting skills (Python, SQL).

        • This is an inperson role based at our Central London office (Chancery Lane). Our team comes together in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to fuel collaboration and connection.
