Overview: 1StopAsia is expanding its services to include Linguistic Validation for Clinical Trials, specifically targeting the translation and assessment of Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) into multiple Asian languages. This emerging sector has seen a marked increase in demand. As we aim to compete in a field currently dominated by major players, we are actively seeking a specialized Clinical Reviewer (CR) to join our team.

Role: The Clinical Reviewer will play a critical role in the linguistic validation process by ensuring the clinical accuracy and relevance of translated medical documents. This position requires a deep understanding of clinical conditions relevant to each project, and the ability to provide insightful, detailed clinical feedback on translations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review translated clinical outcomes assessments and provide detailed clinical feedback.
  • Participate in discussions to ensure the translated content meets the required clinical standards and relevance.
  • Assist in the cognitive debriefing process by evaluating the readability and cultural appropriateness of translations.
  • Contribute to the documentation process, including the Clinician Review Report.
  • Ensure the integrity and clinical accuracy of the translations before final submission.

Requirements

  • Native speakers of the target language
  • Must reside in the country of translation
  • Doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, or clinical psychologists
  • Ideally familiar with neuropsychiatry, Alzheimer’s, or dementia domains
  • Must be comfortable working in English-language review files (Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
