What You’ll Be Doing
Custom WordPress Development: Build and maintain custom WordPress websites from Figma or design files using advanced HTML, CSSSCSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
FrontEnd UI Implementation: Translate creative design concepts into pixelperfect, responsive, and performant frontend interfaces.
Theme and Plugin Customisation: Modify themes and plugins to suit specific client needs using lightweight PHP logic and JavaScript enhancements.
Collaborative Project Execution: Work closely with the strategy and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences that align with project goals.
Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, reusable, scalable code with attention to detail and commitment to QA, testing, and debugging.
Proactive Development Contribution: Contribute ideas to improve website performance, UX, and development workflow efficiency.
Task & Time Management: Operate within project timelines using tools like ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar, while maintaining clear and timely communication.
What We’re Looking For
Strong proficiency in WordPress, including custom theme development
Expertise in HTML, CSSSCSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience working from design files (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and translating them into responsive websites.
Solid understanding of crossbrowser compatibility, performance optimisation, and SEO best practices.
Strong debugging skills and experience with version control (e.g. Git).
Ability to collaborate effectively with design, strategy, and content teams.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Experience with WooCommerce or other ecommerce platforms.
Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Vue).
Experience making wordpress plugins.
