Job description

Role: Intake Specialist

Work Arrangement: Fully remote, following Pacific Time working hours

Job Type: Independent Contractor, Fulltime

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, including weekends (Saturday & Sunday required). Typical rest days will be Monday–Tuesday or Tuesday–Wednesday (subject to adjustment).

Role Overview:

We’re hiring a personable, organized, and resultsdrivenIntake Specialist to help convert inbound leads into booked evaluations for partner speech therapy practices. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients—guiding them through the intake process, answering basic questions, estimating insurance coverage, and scheduling appointments with the right therapist.

Core Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound leads via phone and text who are seeking speech therapy services
  • Build trust and connection quickly, representing our partner practices with professionalism and empathy
  • Use proprietary tools to estimate outofpocket insurance costs
  • Match patients with appropriate therapists based on location, specialty, and insurance compatibility
  • Schedule evaluations and followups using EHR and calendar tools
  • Maintain organized records of all communications and outcomes across multiple practices
