Position Title: Team Leader - Commercial Insurance Support
Work Set-up: Work from Home/Work from Office
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM PH Time
Salary: Php 50,000.00 – Php 60,000.00

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A TEAM LEADER - COMMERCIAL INSURANCE SUPPORT

Your Responsibilities as a Team Leader – Commercial Insurance Support would be:

• Lead and supervise a team of Commercial Insurance Broker Assistants to ensure high-quality support and task completion
• Oversee the preparation and processing of new business, renewals, endorsements, and certificates
• Manage and monitor claims processes, with a focus on motor and property claims, ensuring efficient claims handling and follow-ups
• Coordinate team tasks related to quoting, policy binding, claims management, and endorsements
• Act as the escalation point for complex or urgent claims, client, and broker issues
• Ensure accurate data entry and document management in SCTP/SVU, Insight, and other internal systems
• Perform quality checks on client files, schedules, and documentation prepared by the team
• Communicate directly with brokers, insurers, and clients when required
• Train, mentor, and support team members to improve efficiency, knowledge, and service levels
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to Australian insurance compliance standards
• Provide regular updates to management on workload, challenges, claims handling, and overall team performance

Qualifications as a Team Leader – Commercial Insurance Support:

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in commercial insurance support, with direct exposure to the Australian insurance market
• Proven claims management experience, primarily focusing on motor and property claims, is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with SCTP/SVU systems and Insight platforms
• Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of various commercial insurance products (public liability, property, professional indemnity, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control
• Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing team workloads efficiently
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
