Roles and Responsibilities
Work in a crossfunctional team to architect and engineer the most optimal cloudbased and onprem solutions.
Engineer and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
Engineer and manage globallydistributed VDI solutions.
Engineer and manage cloud and onprem replicated storage solutions.
Engineer and manage Windows software lifecycle management IaC (Infrastructure as Code) pipeline.
Architect and manage cloud and onprem solutions supporting the assetmanagement pipeline.
Plan and operate the network, VPN, MFA, IPAM, DNS and Cert management solutions
Proactively monitor and troubleshoot systems engineering issues.
Operate cloud platform and provide service owner support and participate in incident escalations.
Administrator laptops, workstations, and cloudbased instances throughout the company.
Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate and excel.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Systems Engineering experience in a Windows and Mac environment including Active Directory (or AAD).
Experience deploying and managing resources in AWS using tools such as Cloud Formation, Packer or Terraform.
Experience running SMB or NFS (file services ) at scale.
Demonstrable scripting experience with a variety of scripting languages for automating tasks, generating reports, and creating tools (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell).
Experience with network design, MFA, IPAM, DNS, VPN gateways, routing protocols and cyber security.
Experience managing a VDI solution (like Teradici, Leostream or Parsec).
Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating Perforce.
Experience with Unreal Engine.
Experience operating high capacity GPU farms.
Linux and Kubernetes engineering experience.
Familiarity with CICD systems.
Media and Entertainment experience.
Passion for realtime rendering and animation.
