Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer you’ll join a dynamic engineering team and work closely with our Director of DevOps, software developers, and DBAs. You will own the design, deployment, and maintenance of our CICD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable delivery of our missioncritical services.

Key Responsibilities

• CICD Management: Deploy, manage and administer JenkinsBitbucket PipelinesCodeDeploy (or similar) to automate builds, tests and releases
• Infrastructure as Code: Design and maintain Terraform or CloudFormation templates for multiregion AWS deployments
• Containerization & Orchestration: Build Docker images and orchestrate services on ECS (or Kubernetes)
• Pipeline Orchestration: Automate endtoend delivery workflows across development, staging and production
• Monitoring & Alerting: Implement observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and incidentresponse playbooks
• Collaboration: Partner with product, QA and security teams to codify best practices in deployment, security and performance
• Optimization: Continuously tune infrastructure for reliability, costefficiency and security at scale

  Requirements

  
  

  • 3 + years’ handson experience managing AWS services (IAM, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront)
  • Strong IaC skills using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Proven Docker expertise and ECSKubernetes orchestration
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash or PowerShell
  • Experience deploying productiongrade solutions with CICD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of productionops concerns: security, scalability, monitoring and performance
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and timemanagement skills in fastpaced environments

  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience in FinTech or regulated environments (e.g. SRD II compliance)
    • Familiarity with GitOps tools (Argo CD, Flux) and service meshes
    • AWS, Kubernetes (CKACKAD) or HashiCorp (Terraform) certifications
    • AgileScrum experience and a passion for continuous improvement
