We are delighted to be partnered with a leading UK law firm in search of a Head of Business Development to lead their flagship Personal Injury practice, a crucial function to the firm. The focus of this role will be ensuring business development goals and revenue strategies are achieved in what is currently a significant transformation project within the firm.
This role will head up the main practice within this firm, whilst also giving you autonomy to be a strategic BD leader. This role can be based in any of the firms 35 offices within the UK, and will be leading a team of 8, including a senior manager, 3 BD managers, and 4 executives. This role would be great for an established senior manager or Head of that is passionate about the Personal Injury space.
Reporting into the Director of BD, responsibilities will include:
- Driving key business development strategies with an aim on opportunistic work winning, building long-term pipeline, and taking a client centric approach to relationships and building revenue.
- Working collaboratively with the wider BD practice group teams to ensure regular synergies and cross-selling across the team, ensuring the firm is maximising opportunities.
- Implementing key account management programs with action plans to enhance client relationships, and use data to track down the ROI of these relationships.
- Leading a team of Personal Injury practice specialists, ensuring effective people management and leadership, as well as delegating strategy to junior members.
