The Role

You as a teamlead play a critical role in guiding your team on developing and improving the existing products using a variety of stateoftheart technologies. You will work closely within the development department to foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement. This role requires both strategic vision and handson development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership

  • Lead, support, and coach the team by being an inspiring role model.
  • Foster collaboration within the team and across the agile organization.
  • Align the team goals with the overall strategy.
    • 2. Development

      • Guide and support your team along your deep understanding of software architectures and implementation knowledge: for example, Java, Python, Cloud technologies.
      • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and operation specialists to find pragmatic, sustainable and futureproof solutions.
        • 3. Performance and Continuous Improvement

          • Joy in developing and improving yourself and your team along futureoriented growth paths.
            • Key Requirements:

              • Proven track record of software development abilities and first experiences of leading small development teams.
              • Experience in a Cloudoriented environment is a plus.
              • Experience with Agile frameworks in a distributed and remote team setting is a plus.
                  • 57 years of professional experience in software engineering
                    • Skills & Competencies:

                      • Indepth knowledge of Java.
                          • Strong understanding of Cloudnative application architectures is a plus.
                          • Ability to design, implement, and maintain software products considering user experience and business value.
                              • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
                              • Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess team performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
                              • Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowing German is a plus.
                                • Education:

                                  • Bachelor’s master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
