    • The Project & Opportunity
      HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of 230km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.

      For the project, we are after an experienced Civil Site Engineer, with good communication, and problemsolving abilities, remote working, selfmotivating and working as part of a team.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Manage daily construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved

      • Monitor and report the performance of the workforce and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to technical, program, quality, environmental, safety, and commercial standards

      • Attend design reviews and provide input on constructability, temporary works designs, safety, site access, and related issues.

      • Create, monitor, and control project schedules

      • Plan and implement site establishment activities, ensuring compliance with sitespecific and contract requirements, including location, fencing, signage, environmental, and traffic conditions

      • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks, maintaining a risk register and initiating corrective actions as needed

        • Required Skills and Competencies

          • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field with relevant professional certifications

          • Proven experience in onsite engineering roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of construction processes

          • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills in dynamic construction environments

          • Effective communication skills to liaise with project stakeholders, teams, and regulatory authorities
