Role: Embedded Software Testing Engineer
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: New Delhi(Okhla) WFO
Notice period: Immediate to 30 Days

Job Description:
  • Analyze and understand system requirements & design Test Cases using Test case Design Techniques
  • Creating test plans based on product requirements, specifications, and on the fly discussions.
  • Executing test cases on the Bench [Simulation Setup]
  • Analyze results and report if any failures found
  • Handling tools like Oscilloscope, Programmable Power supply, Function Generator etc.
  • Good in SQL to write medium complex join queries to validate the data in the Database.
  • Good understanding of JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
  • Perform various types of testing like sanity, functional, exploratory, integration and system testing to ensure that the product delivered is of high quality.
  • Follow the organization defined processes and ensure that all required documentation is created and maintained.
  • Automating QA testing to improve speed and coverage
  • Participate in user story reviews to provide input on functional requirements, Acceptance Criteria, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Have very good knowledge on SDLC and STLC life cycles and working knowledge in agile.
    • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, IEEE, or Quality Assurance related.
      Experience: Three or more years of experience in software quality assurance

      Essential Skills:
      • Working with customer service and IT to address escalation issues, bugs, and support requests.
      • Oscilloscope, Programmable Power supply, Function Generator
      • Knowledge of git
      • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
      • Handson experience in Services testing tools like Fiddler, Postman, JSON Lint.
      • Experience in test management tools like TFS, MTM, ALM, etc.
      • Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies.
      • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Very good team player abilities.
      • Performance Testing
        • Additional Preferred skills
          • Testing cloud service platform from frontend web applications to backend data processing
          • Managing, installing, maintaining QA environments in IaaS and PaaS
          • Testing mobile iOS and Android applications that control IoT devices.
          • Testing IoT device protocols (TCP,UDP,IP,MQTT and WTP).
          • Experience in using CI tools like TFS, SVN, etc.
          • Basic knowledge of NET Framework, Windows, IIS ,Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Android Studio.
          • Basic knowledge of C#, Angular, Typescript, ASP.NET Core,ASP.NET MVC, Web API, MSMQ, WCF.
          • Experience in testing web services like SOAP, REST.
          • Virtual Machines setup
          • Microsoft IIS configuration
