Our Sister Company, Sentinel Tech, currently looking for a Project Manager!

About Sentinel Tech

Sentinel Tech is a fast-growing technology company specializing in cutting-edge solutions for the hospitality industry. We build and maintain Sentec PMS, POS, and Finance integrated platforms designed to streamline operations for hotels and restaurants. With a team of 45 professionals and expanding quickly, we are looking for a Project Manager (PM) to help drive our product development forward.


About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Project Manager to oversee the development and enhancement of our Sentec PMS, POS, and Finance products. This individual will work closely with our development, support, and business teams to ensure smooth project execution.

This is a remote-friendly role, but the candidate must be willing to attend meetings or team-building events in our Bali or Jakarta office (once per quarter at most). They must also have a quiet, distraction-free workspace with a reliable computer and internet connection.

The selected candidate will initially assist our current Project Manager and eventually take over their responsibilities to allow them to focus on other priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of Sentec PMS, POS, and Finance.
  • Manage the Kanban boards and ensure tasks are well-prioritized, scoped, and assigned to the right team members.
  • Work closely with developers to define clear requirements for new features and improvements.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams and clients, to gather requirements and assess feature requests.
  • Occasionally assist in sales efforts, working alongside our business development (BizDev) team to present our products to potential clients.
  • Conduct QA testing for new features before deployment to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Communicate with clients to gather feedback and address concerns.
  • Provide progress reports and updates to leadership.
  • Identify bottlenecks and potential risks in projects and proactively resolve them.
  • Maintain responsiveness during normal working hours, ensuring timely replies (within ~2 hours) to messages and emails. We understand that meetings and work tasks may cause occasional delays, but regular availability during working hours is expected.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Having experience as Finance/Accounting in Hospitality Industry is a Big Plus
  • Having experience in data management and SQL is a Big Plus
  • Strong working knowledge of how web browsers, networks, and databases function.
    • More important than coding skills, the PM should understand how these technologies work together to identify possibilities and improvements for our products.
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience managing Kanban boards.
  • Strong ability to write clear requirements for developers.

  • Exceptional communication skills in English and Indonesian (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must have a quiet, professional work environment with a good computer and reliable internet.
