TAX ADVISOR / CONSULTANT (Remote)

Job Description

• Tax Planning and Audits: Provide advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and audit, helping businesses optimise their tax positions and navigate complex tax regulations, ensuring compliance with UAE laws
• Tax Strategies: Develop and implement for clients a compliance-type nature, check schedules and issue VAT Returns. Drafting reports in respect of reviews. Identifying exposure for VAT. Assisting the Finance team in the interpretation of the VAT Act, planning and restructuring.
• Collaboration: Advise clients on UAE tax laws and regulations, prepare and file tax returns for clients.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge of GAAP: In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strategic Thinking: The ability to understand the founder's vision and priorities, and to proactively support them.
• Proactive Approach: Anticipating needs and taking the initiative to address them before being asked.

Technical skills :

• Proficiency in Accounting Software
• Proactive/Passionate about Accounting

Experience:- 5 to 10 years

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA/CA preferred.
