We wish to expand our team with talented and motivated people to help us develop and commercialize advanced medical products in collaboration with renowned customers. As (senior) Software Engineer at ImFusion you will work on customer projects, further develop our state of the art visual computing software framework and share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team and customers.
While this position is based in our Munich office, remote or hybrid work arrangements may be available within Germany and, where compatible with the role's responsibilities and legal requirements, also within the EU.

We are hiring for multiple teams
(please select your preferred team in the application form):- The Machine Learning team is responsible for developing and maintaining our frameworks for the training and integration of AI models for the whole company.
- The Anatomy and Spine team is responsible for developing our off-the-shelf plugins that include many advanced algorithms for anatomy-specific visualization, segmentation and registration (see our Spine Plugin for instance).
- The Interventional Imaging team also targets advanced visualization, segmentation and registration, but geared towards interventional imaging with ultrasound, and everything that is needed to fuse live imaging with pre-operative data, and guide the clinicians to enable a successful treatment delivery (see Ultrasound page on our website).
- The Computer Vision and Endoscopy team is responsible for everything related to endoscopic video and robotic surgery such as 3D reconstruction, tracking anatomical landmarks and video segmentation. On the computer vision side, tasks will range from classical calibration to state-of-the-art AI models, e.g. for monocular depth estimation (see dedicated page on our website).
