Principal Product Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Product Designer to own a complete end-to-end product experience. Our design team is a small, nimble collective that spans marketing and product, allowing us to interact fluidly with the organisation across our customer journey and make immediate impact. We have deep partnerships with marketing, product management, and engineering to deliver at speed and quality.

We expect this role to be filled by someone with deep expertise in product design who has the skills to deliver a conceptual sketch of a new idea to pixel-perfect customer experiences. You'll be responsible for driving both customer satisfaction and key product metrics.

This role demands someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with minimal direction, and influences through craft excellence. Come if you want the accountability and the impact. The problem space is challenging, but the work is rewarding.

This role can be based in either BARCELONA or LONDON 

What you'll be doing

Delivering remarkable product/platform experiences
As the design owner of our newest product, you will be accountable for delivering best-in-class experiences that scale across our platform. Working closely with PM and Engineering peers you will contribute to the roadmap and provide guidance on where design and business meet.

Testing and learning through prototyping:
You utilise your exceptional design skills to test high-fidelity prototypes, providing insights back to the organisation that shifts our understanding of the market and the customers we deliver to.

Identify & Frame Strategic Opportunities
You'll proactively identify and frame complex strategic problems that span not just your product space but also across our platform, transforming ambiguous business challenges into clear design opportunities that others haven't yet considered. 

Set Organisational Craft Standards
You'll create and champion design excellence that becomes the reference point across teams, establishing methodologies that seamlessly integrate strategic thinking with exceptional execution. Your work will set industry benchmarks while enabling others to consistently deliver craft that separates good from unforgettable.

Transform Vision Into Compelling Narratives

Your qualifications

Essential Experience

• 10+ years designing complex software products with demonstrated strategic impact at product/platform and organisational scale
• Portfolio showcasing exceptional craft excellence, systems thinking, and end-to-end ownership of product experiences
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with influence
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Comfort with customer interviews and rapid feedback methodologies

Proven Capabilities

• Exceptional taste and craft skills with ability to set standards others aspire to reach
• Strategic problem-solving with track record of identifying opportunities others haven't seen
• Communication excellence with experience presenting to executive leadership and driving organisational alignment
• Mentorship and development of other designers through craft example and direct guidance
• Technical fluency in prototyping tools and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering
• Visual chops and know your way around design systems
