IAM Technical Consultant

Location: Remote must be located in Germany


Intragen is a leader in cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management (IAM) software solutions with amazing teams in 5 European countries. We’re looking for a dynamic and driven IAM Technical Consultant to work on cuttingedge IAM projects working with an expanding client base.


Job Description

As an IAM Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding our clients through the implementation and optimisation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. You will work closely with customers to align IAM strategies with their business needs, providing expertise in translating technical concepts into business value. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage technical processes, and the competence to serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Guidance: Work closely with customers to guide them through strategic decisions regarding IAM deployments, helping them understand how IAM aligns with their business needs and objectives.
  • Technical Translation: Translate technical concepts into businessfriendly language for nontechnical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of IAM solutions and their benefits.
  • Agile Participation: Participate in agile ceremonies, such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring customer requirements are understood, prioritised, and effectively met by the team.
  • Ticket Management: Handle ticketing workflows related to customer requests, ensuring prompt responses, effective solutions, and maintaining high levels of service quality throughout the process.
  • Onboarding Optimisation: Optimise onboarding and support processes for clients by identifying potential bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the IAM deployment process.
  • Customer Training: Provide training and knowledgesharing sessions for customers to enhance their understanding of IAM tools and best practices, empowering them to manage their identity infrastructure.
  • IAM Assessments: Conduct IAM assessments for clients, identifying gaps in their environments and providing actionable recommendations to enhance security and efficiency.
  • Policy Development: Assist in developing policies, standards, and guidelines for IAM practices within client organisations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    • Requirements:

      • Strong technical knowledge and experience of IAM technologies and deployments across cloud, onprem, and hybrid environments.
      • 3 years+ experience working on complex technical One Identity Manager solution deployments.
      • Must have knowledge of One Identity Manager with any Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Workato desirable.
      • Installing One Identity solutions (database, job services, web services).
      • Understanding of One Identity database schema and relationships for troubleshooting.
      • Knowledge of SQL procedures and One Identity configuration.
      • Experience with custom connectors (PowerShell, SCIM, CSV, etc.) and nonstandard OOTB connectors (EPIC, ServiceNow).
      • Proficiency in One Identity coding (VB.net, Angular, custom processes, permissions configuration, report editing).
      • Skilled in managing and resolving IAM issues and ensuring timely resolution.
      • Experience in agile methodologies, including participating in standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure customer needs are prioritized.
      • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate complex technical IAM concepts into clear, businessfriendly language for nontechnical stakeholders.
      • Fluent English & German language skills (B1 +), both writing and speaking
      • Demonstrable high standards in every area of the role; commitment, organisation, and work habits
      • Collaborative in approach and committed to team working
