Data Migration Specialist – Azure Data Services

This is a remote position.

A leading fertility healthcare provider is seeking a skilled Data Migration Specialist to support its digital transformation initiatives across Europe. You will be responsible for designing and executing complex data and document migrations as part of a comprehensive digital suite implementation. This includes working with TSQL, Azure Data Factory, and both structured and semistructured data sources.

You will collaborate with product owners, analysts, and engineering teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy throughout migration lifecycles. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful healthcare improvements, with flexibility and international collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute data migration workflows using Azure Data Factory and Azure Blob Storage
  

• Develop and optimize complex TSQL scripts for transformation tasks
  

• Migrate documents and structured data between systems while maintaining integrity and compliance
  

• Partner with business users to gather requirements and validate outcomes
  

• Track progress via Jira, providing clear updates to stakeholders
  

• Conduct robust QA, testing, and auditing of migrated data

  Requirements

  • Strong handson expertise in TSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
    
  • Proven experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL pipeline creation
    
  • Familiarity with Azure Blob Storage for handling structured and unstructured data
    
  • Demonstrated track record in successful data migration projects
    
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
    
  • Excellent skills in data validation, transformation, and reconciliation
    
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical teams and end users
    
  • Experience in IVF EMR data migrations is a strong plus
    
  • Familiarity with legacy systems such as FileMaker, Velneo, or VRepro.
