Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is a trusted leader in commercial real estate finance, providing innovative solutions and ensuring seamless insurance compliance for complex transactions. As part of their team, you will play a key role in monitoring insurance compliance, tracking renewals, reviewing ACORD forms, and coordinating with agents to ensure policies meet lender requirements. This role is ideal for someone with experience reviewing documents, following up with agents, and who may have worked as an underwriter, broker, or real estate agent — familiar with coverage details and lender requirements. It requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Salesforce, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. If you have experience in commercial insurance and risk management, this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor Insurance Renewal Certificates: Track and collect insurance renewal certificates using Salesforce before policy expiration.

  • Agent Communication: Engage with insurance agents via email and phone to secure proof of insurance.

  • Certificate Review: Analyze Acord 25 & Acord 28 certificates to confirm compliance with lender and loan document requirements; complete internal and lender checklists.

  • Corrections and Coverage: Maintain communication with agents to address necessary corrections and obtain required coverages.

  • Escalations and Waiver Requests: Collaborate with insurance management on escalations and waiver requests.

  • Insurance Payments: Monitor upcoming insurance payments, collect invoices, and coordinate with Portfolio Managers for submission to the banking team.

  • Document Management: Rename and upload insurance certificates according to lender naming conventions on various lender portals.

  • Status Updates: Provide timely updates to lenders and internal teams on renewal certificate status.

  • Onboarding Review: Ensure all closing insurance documents are correctly entered into the Salesforce database and saved in the document repository.

  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and distribute internal and lender insurance reports in coordination with management.

  • Daily Monitoring: Manage and triage Salesforce queue and Outlook inbox for insurancerelated tasks.

  • Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly team meetings and provide updates on insurance compliance.

    • Requirements
      • Experience working with insurance compliance, specifically reading ACORD forms and obtaining coverages for compliance.

      • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.

      • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

      • Ability to work independently and collaborate with various departments.

      • Be based in a LATAM country.

      • Background in commercial insurance, risk management, or a related field.

      • Experience reviewing insurance certificates and working with agents to ensure compliance.

      • Familiarity with lender requirements and loan document insurance compliance.

      • Strong organizational skills with a proactive problemsolving mindset.

        • Benefits
          • Fulltime position with a 100% remote work environment.

          • Opportunity to work with a reputable company in the commercial real estate finance industry.

          • Collaborative team culture and career growth potential.

          • Competitive compensation in USD.
