Job description

This is a remote position.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations Data Analyst is responsible for analysing production data, identifying insights to improve operational efficiency, and planning production activities to meet customer and export requirements. This role acts as a bridge between the production, logistics, sales, and quality assurance teams, ensuring that datadriven decisions optimise throughput, reduce waste, and align with demand forecasts. Candidates with productionfloor experience and a strong analytical mindset are highly valued.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse production and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

  • Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as yield, throughput, waste, and resource utilisation.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on datadriven analysis.

  • Support decisionmaking with cost, yield, and efficiency analyses.

    • Production Planning

      • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and longterm production schedules informed by sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.

      • Adjust plans proactively based on realtime data, demand fluctuations, or operational constraints.

      • Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and ensure ontime delivery.

        • Inventory & Compliance

          • Work closely with inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels across facilities.

          • Monitor product flow through each production stage, identify anomalies, and escalate for correction.

          • Ensure all production activities meet export market requirements and international certifications (e.g., halal, USDA, China).

            • Crossfunctional Coordination

              • Collaborate with Sales to align production plans with customer orders and delivery timelines.

              • Review and enter sales order details into company systems to ensure accurate production, scheduling, and dispatch.

              • Communicate order confirmations and updates to customers in a timely and professional manner.



                • Requirements
                  • Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.

                  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.

                  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar) and ability to visualise data effectively.

                  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to coordinate across teams.

                  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing demands.

                  • Knowledge of production processes, HACCP, GMP, and export certification requirements is highly desirable.

                  • Experience in meat processing or similar industries is a plus.
