JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Data Analyst is responsible for analysing production data, identifying insights to improve operational efficiency, and planning production activities to meet customer and export requirements. This role acts as a bridge between the production, logistics, sales, and quality assurance teams, ensuring that datadriven decisions optimise throughput, reduce waste, and align with demand forecasts. Candidates with productionfloor experience and a strong analytical mindset are highly valued.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyse production and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as yield, throughput, waste, and resource utilisation.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on datadriven analysis.
Support decisionmaking with cost, yield, and efficiency analyses.
Production Planning
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and longterm production schedules informed by sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
Adjust plans proactively based on realtime data, demand fluctuations, or operational constraints.
Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and ensure ontime delivery.
Inventory & Compliance
Work closely with inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels across facilities.
Monitor product flow through each production stage, identify anomalies, and escalate for correction.
Ensure all production activities meet export market requirements and international certifications (e.g., halal, USDA, China).
Crossfunctional Coordination
Collaborate with Sales to align production plans with customer orders and delivery timelines.
Review and enter sales order details into company systems to ensure accurate production, scheduling, and dispatch.
Communicate order confirmations and updates to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar) and ability to visualise data effectively.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to coordinate across teams.
Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing demands.
Knowledge of production processes, HACCP, GMP, and export certification requirements is highly desirable.
Experience in meat processing or similar industries is a plus.
