Senior Manager Agency Insurance (Remote Eligible)
The Senior Manager Insurance will be responsible for managing a team of Associates and the oversight of Insurance Compliance functions for the Agency Finance portfolio of loans that are underwritten through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae (GovernmentSponsored Enterprise or GSEs). This individual will also be responsible for providing information to both internal stakeholders (other LOBs) and external stakeholders (borrowers, insurance agents, third party providers, and the GSEs). Additionally, they will be responsible for identifying, researching, solving andor responding to requests, inquiries, and problematic situations in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the position include being a subject matter expert and key contact internally with Risk, Compliance and Audit and externally with the Agencies, Third Party Vendors in addition to the following responsibilities (either directly or via oversight and leadership of the team):
Evidence of Insurance and Policy collection; Paid receiptinvoice collection; Insurance Compliance reviews, requests for modifications, etc...; Vendor compliance and oversight; Force placement insurance coverage; Regulatory Compliance for Flood Insurance;
Insurance Reporting and certifications to GSE’s and Master Servicers
Ensures Team metrics are functions are well managed
Serve as a liaison between the Loan Servicing Team, Asset Management, Closing, Capital Markets, and Origination teams
Ensure compliance with Agency guidelines
Ensure compliance with Master Servicing procedures for the loan servicing portfolio
Performing problem research
Applies experience and analysis to develop creative and innovative solutions for various issues
Provide guidance to the team on all aspects of GSE requirements, communication, and reporting
Work directly with Agency Finance technology team on dashboards and enhanced reporting tools.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Military Experience
At least 5 years of experience working in Commercial Real Estate
At least 5 years of experience managing a loan servicing team
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years of experience working with GSEbacked multifamily loans
6+ years of experience managing a loan servicing team

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Remote (Regardless of Location): $140,600 $160,400 for Sr. Agency Ops Manager
Charlotte, NC: $140,600 $160,400 for Sr. Agency Ops Manager
McLean, VA: $154,600 $176,400 for Sr. Agency Ops Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) andor long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
