Job description

Pyka is looking for a technical sourcer contractor with at least 1 year of experience who’s scrappy, strategic, and relentless in tracking down toptier talent. You’ll play a key role in building talent pipelines for Pyka’s engineering, manufacturing, and flight operations — driving candidate engagement from the first outreach to handoff with the recruiter.

You’ll partner with our Sr. Recruiter, hiring managers, and the People team to deeply understand our open roles, team dynamics, and the unique skill sets needed to build autonomous aircrafts that change the world.

Responsibilities

  • Source passive technical talent through LinkedIn, Juicebox, social platforms, niche communities, and boolean searches
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines for priority roles in engineering, flight operations, manufacturing, and beyond
  • Partner closely with hiring teams to define ideal candidate profiles and sourcing strategies
  • Track pipeline health and sourcing metrics using Greenhouse
  • Own the candidate outreach experience, from cold message to warm handoff
  • Stay current on market trends and sourcing tools; test and recommend new approaches
    • Preferred Qualifications

      • 1+ year of experience sourcing technical talent (software, hardware, etc.) in a startup environment
      • Strong sourcing chops with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, and creative search strategies
      • Excellent communication and followthrough skills
      • Ability to juggle multiple roles and priorities without dropping the ball
      • Comfortable with ambiguity and iteration—Pyka moves fast, and so do you
      • Bonus if you’ve worked on roles involving aviation, robotics, or autonomy
