This is a remote position.

Workday Consultant – Security, Time & Absence, and Payroll

We are seeking a Workday Consultant with expertise in Workday Security, Time & Absence, and Payroll. This role will be responsible for configuring and maintaining security roles, supporting time tracking, absence management, and payroll. The ideal candidate must have handson Workday experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to optimize system functionality.


Responsibilities
Workday Security
  • Maintain and configure Workday Security roles, ensuring appropriate access and compliance.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly security audits and resolve access issues.
  • Configure Business Process Security Policies and Domain Securities across functional areas, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence (Time Off and Leave), Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, and Reporting.
  • Research and resolve daytoday configurable security challenges.
  • Identify new enhancements and review feature releases for configurable security.
  • Define rolebased and userbased security, aligning with functional SMEs to ensure business processes reflect the agreedupon roles.
    • Workday Time & Absence
      • Support the configuration and management of Time Tracking and Absence Management modules.
      • Assist with time calculation rules, accrual setups, and eligibility requirements.
      • Collaborate with HR and stakeholders to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
        • Workday Payroll
          • Assist in configuring and maintaining Workday Payroll setup, including earnings, deductions, and pay configurations.
          • Partner with payroll teams to optimize processing and resolve discrepancies.
          • Ensure payroll system compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
          • Support reporting needs of the payroll team across entities.

            • Skills & Qualifications
              • 5+ years of experience in Workday Security, Time & Absence, and Payroll.
              • Experience using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
              • Strong understanding of Workday business processes and security framework.
              • Ability to analyze system issues and provide effective solutions.
              • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
              • Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
              • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
              • Global Workday experience is a plus.
