We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive FrontEnd Software Development Virtual Assistant to support the expansion and maintenance of our digital media network across platforms like ROKU, Amazon FireTV, Google Play, and soon Apple TViOS. The ideal candidate has experience developing and deploying frontend applications for smart TV and mobile ecosystems, especially Apple TV and iOS. This is a growthoriented role with opportunities to work on new platform integrations and future scaling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy frontend applications for Apple TViOS, ensuring seamless user experience and alignment with existing platform UIUX.
• Maintain and support current applications on ROKU, Amazon FireTV, and Google Play Store.
• Collaborate on platform updates, design enhancements, and feature additions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platformspecific bugs or performance issues.
• Work with video streaming APIs and services (e.g., HLS, DASH, media hosting).
• Optimize codebase for performance, scalability, and future integrations.
• Stay up to date with platform requirements, SDK changes, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the content and strategy team to support evolving business needs.

• Qualifications and Preferred Experience (Bonus but not required)

  • Experience with frontend development on Apple TV (tvOS) and iOS apps.
  • Working knowledge of Swift, Xcode, and the Apple Developer ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with ROKU Development (BrightScript), Amazon Fire TV (Androidbased), and Google Play Console.
  • Strong HTML5CSS3JavaScript skills and frontend frameworks.
  • Experience integrating APIs and video playback frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with media networks or OTT platforms.
  • Background in video content delivery (CDNs, transcoding, streaming services).
  • UIUX design familiarity for smart TV apps.
  • Crossplatform development tools like React Native, Flutter, or Expo.
