This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detailoriented Integration Engineer to join our team. The Integration Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing the integration of diverse systems, applications, and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency. This position requires a strong understanding of integration frameworks, APIs, and middleware technologies, coupled with excellent problemsolving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

System Integration:

Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between internal systems, thirdparty applications, and cloud platforms.

Evaluate and recommend integration tools and platforms based on project requirements.

API Development and Management:

Develop, deploy, and manage RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and other data exchange interfaces.

Ensure API security and performance through proper authentication, authorization, and optimization.

Middleware and Data Transformation:

Implement and configure middleware solutions to facilitate data exchange between heterogeneous systems.

Transform and map data between source and target systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Testing and Validation:

Conduct unit and systemlevel testing to verify the functionality of integration solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

Collaboration and Documentation:

Work closely with software developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and align solutions with business goals.

Document integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications for future reference and maintenance.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor the performance of integration solutions and optimize for speed, reliability, and scalability.

Implement logging and monitoring tools to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on emerging integration technologies and industry best practices.

Contribute to the evolution of the organization’s integration architecture.

Proficiency in integration platforms and tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, or similar.

Handson experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML.

Strong understanding of database systems and SQL for data extraction and transformation.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration services.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CICD pipelines.

Secret Clearance

Preferred:

Certifications in integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer, Dell Boomi Professional Developer).

Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architecture and microservices.

Experience with message queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

Understanding of security protocols for integration (e.g., OAuth, JWT, SSLTLS).

Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
