We are seeking a Solutions Architect with deep technical expertise in IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) and Business Automation Workflow (BAW) to support a mission-critical federal program. This position will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale workflow and automation solutions to drive digital modernization across cloud and hybrid environments. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead architect for workflow automation solutions using IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation and BAW
Define architecture strategies for business process management (BPM), case management, RPA, and content services
Design and implement scalable, secure automation solutions that align with federal IT compliance and security frameworks
Lead technical teams through solution delivery and ensure alignment with program goals, timelines, and performance objectives
Provide architecture governance, integration planning, and stakeholder briefings
Support the clearance onboarding process and adhere to all federal security requirements
Required Experience:
7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 3 years specific to IBM BAW/CP4BA
Proven experience implementing automation solutions in cloud and hybrid environments
Strong understanding of BPMN standards, microservices architecture, and container orchestration (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with federal compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in federal or highly regulated environments
Desired Qualifications:
IBM Certified Solution Architect – Cloud Pak for Business Automation
Experience supporting federal civilian or defense agencies
Existing security clearance or ability to obtain one
