  • Monday to Friday: 10AM - 2PM EST USA

Job Description

We’re seeking a motivated Lead Generation & Appointment Setting Specialist to join our growing sales team and help connect homeowners with life-changing solar energy solutions. In this remote role, you’ll be the crucial first point of contact in our sales process, identifying and qualifying prospects who are interested in reducing their energy bills through solar power. You’ll combine research skills with persuasive communication to build a pipeline of qualified appointments for our sales team. This position offers excellent growth potential in the booming renewable energy sector, with performance-based commissions and the satisfaction of helping families save money while protecting the environment.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential solar prospects through online directories, LinkedIn, Google searches, and company databases
  • Generate comprehensive lead lists targeting homeowners who match our ideal customer demographics
  • Conduct 70-80 outbound calls per 4-hour shift to engage prospects and generate interest in solar solutions
  • Navigate through gatekeepers and decision-makers to secure qualified appointments
  • Set 1-2 high-quality appointments per week with interested homeowners for our sales team
  • Maintain detailed prospect interaction records and appointment outcomes using spreadsheet tracking systems
  • Follow up with leads via phone and email to nurture relationships and maximize conversion opportunities
  • Collaborate with your dedicated account manager to optimize lead generation strategies and improve performance
Requirements
  • Proven telesales experience with a track record of success in outbound calling campaigns
  • Strong lead generation background with demonstrated ability to research and identify target prospects
  • Cold calling expertise with confidence to engage strangers and overcome initial objections
  • Appointment setting experience, preferably in B2C sales environments
  • Excellent English communication skills with a clear, professional phone presence
  • Proficiency in online research tools including LinkedIn, Google, and business directories
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience with CRM systems or willingness to learn spreadsheet-based tracking methods
  • Ability to work part-time schedule of 20 hours per week with consistent daily availability
