We are looking for an Enterprise Sales Director to create, expand, and retain revenue for Actian’s product lines in APAC Region.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactive development and execution of a go-to-market strategy for the APAC region
Identification and penetration of greenfield markets to build brand presence from the ground up
Creation and implementation of country-specific sales approaches tailored to local dynamics
Hands-on acquisition of new customers in the SME and mid-market segments
Building and nurturing strategic partnerships and local ecosystems to accelerate growth
Full ownership of the sales cycle: from prospecting to deal closure, including proposal development and contract negotiation
Achievement of revenue, margin, and pipeline targets with strong accountability to KPIs
Follow-up on inbound leads and demand generation campaigns, leveraging a strong personal network
Regular engagement with prospects and customers to establish trust and long-term relationships
Utilization of CRM to track progress, analyze sales data, and uncover new business opportunities
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in uncharted territory, enjoys building from scratch, and is passionate about closing deals and shaping market presence across APAC.
Essential Qualifications
7+ years’ sales and/or account management experience in Data Management (Required)
Demonstrable experience in high-tech enterprise software sales. Inside and Outside sales (Required)
Team leadership skills
Proven ability to engage, negotiate and win new relationships at CXO level in our targeted markets
Previous knowledge of SaaS, Cloud, Analytics, Database, Data Governance and ETL technologies
Understanding of recent Cloud trends and key vendor’s products
Proven track record in selling & positioning IT solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office & Sales Automation Tools (Salesforce.com)
Minimum bachelor’s degree from a leading university or equivalent experience
Very strong written & verbal communication skills
Ability to speak and present to large business audiences at conferences & industry forums
Team player with a positive attitude and good customer service skills
High levels of self-motivation, adaptability, ease of handling multiple responsibilities and able to work on own with minimal supervision
