We’re looking for a tactical, execution-focused Product Owner to drive E2E delivery for the Nasdaq Fund Secondaries team! This role works closely with the Senior Manager of Product to help translate business needs into actionable work, coordinate discovery efforts, and ensure smooth execution through the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is comfortable working end-to-end and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively lead backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning sessions in close partnership with the Product Manager and engineering team.
• Support the Product Manager in maintaining the product backlog by contributing to story development, updating items, and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Lead daily standups and help remove blockers—bringing a light Scrum Master mindset to team coordination.
• Serve as the go-to Jira expert for the team—creating, updating, and tracking work items with accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in and help coordinate discovery sessions to clarify business needs and shape upcoming work, including assisting in the buildout of clear lean business use cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• Assist with release planning and coordination, working alongside the Product Manager to align timelines and expectations.
• Support the Product Manager in building and maintaining product roadmaps—helping to align priorities, timelines, and strategic goals across teams.
• Provide clear, timely updates on progress, blockers, and delivery risks to program leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and proposing solutions.
• Embrace Agile principles with a growth mindset—open to learning, iterating, and introducing new ideas that improve team performance and product outcomes. We're looking for someone passionate about product management and eager to gain mastery in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4–6 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management practices.
• Proficiency with Jira and related tools.
• Experience supporting discovery and release planning activities.
• Comfortable facilitating standups and team ceremonies.
• Familiarity with data-driven platforms or analytics-heavy environments; comfortable interpreting data and collaborating with technical teams to support data-informed decisions.
• Exposure to data analytics platforms or workflows is a plus; openness to learning and applying data-driven thinking in product execution is strongly encouraged.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working across the full product lifecycle in partnership with a Product Manager.

This role works closely with US-based teammates, so the typical start time is around 10:00 AM Lithuanian time. As NFS operates with a startup mindset, we encourage flexibility—some team members shift their hours to better align with cross-time-zone collaboration

Monthly salary: from 2400 EUR to 4316 EUR gross. The final salary will depend on candidate knowledge and experience, other bonuses apply.
