Role Overview:
They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join their remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, preferably within physical therapy or outpatient services, and be fluent in both Spanish and English. You’ll be responsible for managing insurance claims, patient billing, and ensuring timely reimbursements, all while delivering top-tier communication and support to our patients and internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims via electronic and paper billing systems
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing issues with payers
  • Post payments and reconcile patient accounts
  • Manage patient billing inquiries and process statements
  • Maintain and update billing records and documentation
  • Coordinate with the front office team and clinical team to ensure clean claim submission
  • Stay current with payer policies and compliance regulations
  • Assist with reporting and audits as needed

Requirements

  • Must enjoy working on a team and meeting via Google Meet and Google Chat frequently
  • Google Workspace Proficiency required
  • 2+ years of medical billing experience (U.S. healthcare system preferred)
  • Knowledge of physical therapy or outpatient billing a plus
  • Strong understanding of insurance verification, coding, EOBs, and appeals
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (both verbal and written)
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and billing software (PromptEMR experience a plus)
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and reliable
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment

Benefits

  • Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
  • Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you. 
  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard. 

Salary : $1300-$1600/month
