This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend services, optimizing performance, and contributing to a scalable system architecture. You’ll work with modern and legacy technologies while collaborating closely with other engineers through code reviews and pair programming.

Responsibilities

Design and implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend services using modern .NET technologies.
Contribute actively to T-SQL development and database optimization.
Write clean, well-structured code and maintain a strong focus on system performance and code quality.
Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions to ensure consistency and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time.

Requirements

C# (.NET Framework 4.8+) – Proven experience in backend development with enterprise-level applications.
ASP.NET (WebForms & Web API) – Solid knowledge of building and maintaining web applications and RESTful services.
T-SQL – Strong command of writing and optimizing complex queries, procedures, and database logic.
UDP Protocol – Familiarity with low-level networking and communication protocols is a plus.
NUnit / tSQLt – Experience with unit testing frameworks to ensure reliability and maintainability of code.
