Software Engineer (Python/JS, Remote)

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with proficiency in Python and JavaScript to join our dynamic team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust and scalable applications while continuously improving existing codebases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new features for web applications using Python and JavaScript frameworks
  
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and specifications
  
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices
  
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience
  
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance development practices
  

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript (Node.js or similar frameworks)
  
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, React, or Angular
  
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
  
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
  
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
  
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
