This is a remote position.

About the Role

As a
 DevOps Engineer You will design and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes, while optimising CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI. You'll deploy serverless components with AWS Lambda and manage monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. Security best practices and compliance will be automated and enforced throughout the development lifecycle. You’ll also develop automation scripts in Python or Bash to support infrastructure and deployment.

What You'll Need
  • Strong experience in AWS infrastructure, including serverless and container orchestration (EKS/Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD design and implementation, particularly with GitLab CI
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security frameworks
  • Exposure to compliance standards such as FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO 27001, or GDPR
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Bash
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
  • Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
  • Deploy and manage serverless components using AWS Lambda and related services
  • Set up and maintain monitoring/observability stacks (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Enforce and automate security best practices across the development lifecycle
  • Support compliance initiatives and ensure infrastructure meets regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure and deployment scripts in Python, Bash, or similar.
