Job Description The Manual QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter applications, as well as their integration points. The role involves designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases to validate end-to-end processes and application functionalities. Key Responsibilities Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective test strategies. Test Execution: Execute manual test cases for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and their integrations. Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using test management and bug-tracking tools. Perform regression testing to ensure application changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities. Integration Testing: Conduct integration testing to validate data flow and functionality across different systems and applications. Work closely with integration developers to understand interfaces and data exchange processes. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective defect resolution. Provide test execution status updates and contribute to test summaries and reports. Skills and Competencies Technical Skills: Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter. Familiarity with integration testing and data validation techniques. Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure Devops). |
