Position Summary:

We are looking for a strategic, results-driven, and resourceful ITAD Buyer to lead the charge in acquiring high-quality retired or upgraded laptops, tablets, and notebooks for resale in the secondary market. If you’re a master negotiator, a skilled deal-closer, and a pro at building relationships, this is the role for you!  As a key member of our team, you will leverage your existing industry knowledge, expansive network, and sales acumen to drive revenue growth while upholding our core values.

We seek an individual who can take our current monthly average laptop unit sales from roughly 3,000 to 3x-4x that level in a few months. You will have dedicated budget dollars to acquire those assets and then to work closely with our selling group to monetize the asset purchase, and then turn around and repeat the process.

Although having direct experience in ITAD equipment sales is ideal, we are open to hiring seasoned buyers who have experience outside computer electronics. We need you to bring high energy, hunger to achieve, desire to work as part of a team, and a willingness to be coached. Those attributes will be the critical success factors in this position.

What You’ll Do:

• Identify & Source: Actively seek out laptops, tablets, and notebooks from enterprise clients, educational institutions, VARs, and OEMs to expand our portfolio.
• Acquisition & Negotiation: Leverage your persuasive sales skills to secure the best purchase or consignment agreements while maximizing value.
• Expand Your Network: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships across the ITAD, VAR, and liquidation industries to boost sourcing capabilities.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team on equipment valuation and accompany them to client sites for hands-on evaluation.
• Market Awareness: Stay ahead of trends in the secondary device market, understanding key buyer personas such as brokers, end-users, and educational institutions.
• Close Deals & Hit Targets: Use your exceptional closing skills to drive revenue, aiming to source $5M–$10M+ annually in devices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven success in ITAD buying or a related sales role.
• A well-established network within the ITAD, VAR, and liquidation industries.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and deal-closing abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A self-motivated, driven personality with a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Knowledge of laptop, tablet, and notebook testing protocols.
• Familiarity with ITAD industry regulations and best practices.
