Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Coupa Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in procurement, spend management, and Coupa implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving procurement transformation, improving efficiency, and optimizing the use of the Coupa platform. This role requires a blend of technical, functional, and leadership skills to assist in the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Coupa platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the implementation of Coupa solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Configure and customize Coupa modules such as Procurement, Supplier Management, and Expense Management to meet specific business needs.
  • Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on Coupa best practices and procurement process optimization.
  • Conduct business analysis, gather requirements, and create detailed functional specifications.
  • Support the integration of Coupa with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, finance systems).
  • Collaborate with project teams and business users to ensure successful implementation and post-implementation support.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and end-users on Coupa functionality and features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to the Coupa platform.
  • Develop and deliver reports and dashboards using Coupa analytics and reporting tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas of enhancement and advising on system upgrades or new features.
  • Ensure project timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed.


Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, spend management, and/or business process management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Coupa, including configuration, integration, and customization.
  • Expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Proficient in leading large-scale Coupa implementations across multiple regions or business units.
  • Deep knowledge of procurement and supplier management best practices.
  • Solid understanding of integration tools, middleware, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with Coupa Supplier Portal and Coupa Analytics is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coupa certification (e.g., Coupa Certified Platform Professional) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
