Our Newest Opportunity: 

The OneDigital Stop Loss Center of Excellence (SLCOE) will offer OneDigital offices a streamlined policy marketing and implementation process along with a dedicated claims and service team which will alleviate the complexities associated with third-party stop loss vendors and ensure OneDigital clients are receiving the most competitive rates in the market. In addition, the SLCOE will provide claims support, allowing for expedited claims reimbursement. The SLCOE will identify and manage a panel of select top-rated stop loss carriers that offer annually renewable contracts with best-in-class contract provisions.

The Analyst role is a detail-oriented professional who owns the stop loss marketing process as well as aspects of financial analysis work related to our clients’ stop loss and self-funded ASO policies. They will project manage the renewal process, obtain competitive quotes, and provide proactive support to the Director of the Stop Loss Center of Excellence in the renewal process consistently, timely and accurately. They will monitor reimbursement requests to stop loss carriers to include meeting all aspects of external and internal reporting along with providing data extracts and financial analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Manage, in coordination with the Director of the Stop Loss Center of Excellence, the stop loss policies for each client within assigned region
  • Own all aspects of the marketing and analysis of the group stop loss policies
    • Collect, review, and prepare data needed to market for quotes  
    • Manage and track responses from the carriers, ensuring consistency with requested proposals
    • Review stops loss proposals and renewals for accuracy
    • Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts
    • Assemble proposal components (executive summary, quote request results, spreadsheets, supporting documentation)
    • Assist with the implementation process with teams, TPA’s and stop loss carrier
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stop loss carrier partners.
  • Attain and maintain industry knowledge of self-funding, stop loss, plan designs, legislation, and emerging benefit trends.
  • Maintain client database (D365) with information inclusive of, but not limited to renewal dates, rates, compensation, carrier, deductible levels, contract type, progress of stop-loss requests
  • Develop and maintain accurate plan performance reports for large group clients and deliver timely, insightful reports to client executives and internal team members
  • Perform financial analyses, including monthly claims reporting, large claim analysis and tracking to annual budget  
  • Additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong writing skills with ability to correspond and present in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to C-Suite audience
  • Ability to analyze data and recognize analytical patterns.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects at once and thrives in a fast paced, energetic environment
  • Highly organized and driven to accomplish the goals set before him/her
  • Supports team members during peak schedule by offering to help where needed
  • Models and exemplifies the OneDigital Way - Service-oriented mentality seeks to behave in a personal, consistent, and reliable manner.
  • Work experience that demonstrates strong technical and/or client service skills (analyst type of internship preferred)
  •  A self-starter who works independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Math, Accounting, or another related field, preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience working for a group insurance carrier, broker, or consultant, strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of group insurance underwriting including HMOs, PPOs, and indemnity plans as well as medical, dental, CDHP, pharmacy
  • Familiarity with multiple insurance companies or TPA’s strongly preferred.
  • Underwriting experience a plus
  • A working knowledge of Self-Funded plans is required.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, required.
  • Current life and health producer license or ability to acquire within 90 days of hire (company paid), required

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
