Note: This is a six (6) months contract role, with possibility of renewal or an upgrade to permanent staff. The role is based in Lagos and its a field work in different motor parks across the city. The pay for this role is N150,000 monthly, with added commission benefits based on met targets up to a maximum amount of N200,000 monthly.
As a Sales & Operations Manager, you will work with the Sales & Operations Team to ensure sourcing and high productivity of all B2B accounts. You goal is to maximize revenue generation for the company by effectively collaborating with the Marketing, and Customer Success Teams. The ideal candidate for this role would have a combination of some Sales, Business Development, Operations and Project Management skills.
Responsibilities
Effectively manage the B2B sales funnel.
Execute strategies for acquisition and onboarding transport and logistics businesses.
Grow and manage Intercity service Centers.
Manage internal Operations Projects.
Create and maintain a handbook for operators and customers.
Find new channels for client sourcing.
Develop client acquisition and verification processes.
Ensure high performance of all onboarded accounts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any field.
Proven work experience as a Sales or Operations Manager in a tech company
You are good with technology and using different tools to get the job done.
You have worked in a smaller company before, and are happy taking on a lot of varied tasks.
You are hands-on and love getting your hands dirty, but also know when it's best to delegate.
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
You are a big picture thinker, but you are also good at implementation and follow-through, with a high attention to detail.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
You can work to produce the best results both in a team and independently.
You have excellent verbal and written English skills and at least 1 major Nigerian dialect (Igbo, Yoruba, or Hausa)
