Role: Mid/Senior Manual QA
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long Term
Work Hours: US Time
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM Countries)

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to aid in the quality process across our software development lifecycle. As QA Engineer at the client, you will be instrumental in performing tests to ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable HIPAA-compliant software products. You will manually test a variety of areas in the application. In addition, some automation scripting is expected to augment the manually testing. This role requires a strong background in manual testing, some automation and coding knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possess a strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and the ability to design and execute thorough manual test cases.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and other stakeholders across multiple Scrum teams to ensure maximum test coverage and alignment with the product.
  • Champion quality and best practices within the organization, not only looking for bugs but also for what is best for the product.
  • Be an active agent in the defect tracking process, ensuring timely identification, documentation, communication, and resolution of defects.
  • Contribute to the automated testing frameworks.
  • Track key quality metrics, providing regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall product quality to the Developers and other key stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive experience (3+ years) in software quality assurance, with a vast amount of experience in both manual testing and some experience in automation testing.
  • Experience writing and carrying out test plans in test management suites (e.g., Xray, QMetry, TestRail).
  • Experience writing and carrying out manual test cases.
  • Some knowledge of creating frameworks and tests with a UI or database automation tool.
  • Solid understanding of different testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
