Job description

The Job

Our Fanwear business is looking for a Product Manager. The Product Manager is focused on managing a division within the stichd Fanwear business. You have a very diverse job and will work division focused on several brands and product groups. The Product Manager with their team are expected to deliver the product needs for the different distribution channels and manage key account requests. You are in close contact with the Puma HQ team to align product strategies and ensure a cohesive product design language.

Your Mission

  • You steer the product-lifecycle-management, from commercial input, briefing to internal teams, design & development phase to range launch;
  • You work effectively with the PUMA network, from PLM to GTM teams to execute PUMA branded motorsport & teamsport (football) ranging to the stichd network;
  • You develop short- and long-term collection strategies, tactical product executions and innovations that position our brands / assets / teams as the leader in the assigned categories; 
  • You own the collection critical path for each Line Plan developed;
  • You effectively translate the commercial input, analysis and financial KPIs into a line plan.  You provide a clear product briefing for our internal teams, and you coordinate the tasks and responsibilities of the teams;
  • You prepare market- and competitor studies on an international level as well as analyzing forecasts and sales data;
  • You cooperate with design, development, and sales to ensure final collections are reflecting market needs;
  • You collaborate with stakeholders and drive the product creation process based on the Go-to-Market calendar milestones;
  • You understand sales, margin, and merchandising requirements to deliver market / account fitting product concepts;
  • You meet category financial targets as set by the organization;
  • You manage, maintain, and distribute all information of assigned product lines. You are responsible for correct and on time input in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP system;
  • You present product lines to internal and external teams in a comprehensive, clear, tactical manner;
  • You regularly visit markets, fairs and participate in key account meetings;
  • You take up all kinds of relevant activities and system work. 

Your Talent

•    You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or comparable fields;
•    You have multiple years of experience in product management, preferably in the sports-lifestyle and / or sporting goods industry or an international organization working with global brands;
•    A knowledge and understanding of our products and interest in Motorsport and/or Football;
•    Good market and retail knowledge in the lifestyle, fashion, and / or sporting goods industry;
•    Preferably knowledgeable in Licensing;
•    Flexible team player with an open mindset, strong organizational skills, analytical, well-structured with the ability to prioritize;
•    Very good verbal communication skills as well as excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken);
•    Excellent MS-Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and PLM.

This role is based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
