The Job
The (Senior) E-Commerce Merchandiser Motorsport plays a critical role in driving online sales and enhancing the shopping experience for B2C E-Commerce customers. This role plays a key part in implementing merchandising strategies that boost engagement and revenue and managing product presentation online. The candidate must have a strong understanding and affinity in Formula 1 business.
Your Mission
Cross-Functional Management and Brand Coordination:
- Leverage strong account management experience to be the main point of contact to represent e-Commerce priorities, align on launches and trade actions to ensure high quality execution across the webshop;
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal collaboration and seamless execution.
Commercial Trading and Merchandising:
- Monitor sales performance and recommend data-driven initiatives to maximize sales and achieve business targets. Setting up mark downs, promotions and other important consumer moments;
- Contribute to pricing strategies (incl. monitor market trends and competitors) and seasonal plans to ensure competitiveness in the market;
- Manage trade calendar. Ensure timely and accurate product launches with a strong focus on delivering a seamless consumer experience and impactful, high quality content.
Inventory and Availability Management:
- Close collaboration with Merch Planning teams (and other relevant dept.) to ensure the most commercial and profitable range and to prevent stockouts or overstocking;
- Ensure product availability and maintain accurate stock visibility.
In close collaboration together with CRO, Digital Marketing team & CS:
- Based on shop’s sales performance recommend improvement points to improve conversion, traffic and customer journey to drive engagement and sales.
Product Presentation & Navigation:
- Managing product listing to ensure up-to-date product information, including descriptions, images, and pricing;
- Ensure that products are visually appealing and easy to find across the webshops;
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners to ensure the consistency content across sales channels;
Your Talent
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing or related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in E-Commerce Merchandising preferably in a B2C environment, in the fashion or sports lifestyle industry or a fast-moving consumer business;
- Demonstrated ability to implement successful online trading strategies through data driven decision making;
- Experience in CMS/e-Commerce platforms is required. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a strong plus;
- Experience in account management, including internal and external coordination;
- Fluency in English verbally and in writing;.
- Strong understanding of e-Commerce platforms and merchandising tools;
- Commercially driven with a focus on improving customer experience and sales performance;
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret webshop data and adjust strategies accordingly;
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams;
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused;
- Understanding and affinity in F1 business;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong presentation and PowerPoint skills.
This role is based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
