Payroll Specialist – Multi-System

Status: Permanent, Full-time.
Location: 100% Remote (Canada).
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute full-cycle payroll for various clients, with or without unionized environments.
Handle remittances and third-party payments on schedule.
Manage benefits administration, as per client requirements.
Generate and validate payroll reports, journal entries, T4s, R1s, and employer summaries.
Ensure compliance with Canadian and provincial regulations, client policies, and collective agreements.
Collaborate with client HR teams on payroll documents, deductions, and government reporting.
Serve as primary payroll contact for assigned clients.
Support special projects (system implementations, process improvements, vendor transitions).

Profil

Profile Sought:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Canadian full-cycle payroll (multi-employer or multi-site is an asset).
Familiarity with payroll systems such as Workday, Dayforce, ADP, UKG, Nethris (at least two required).
Experience managing payroll across multiple systems and projects.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
College diploma or university degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
Bilingual (French and English).
PCP or CPM certification (an asset).
