This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule:Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm; Central Time with an-hour unpaid break

Location: Remote (Central Time Zone required)

About the Role:

We’re hiring a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist who gets social media, basic website management, and digital marketing for multiple radio stations. You’ll create and schedule social content, build and maintain WordPress sites, design reusable templates, and support digital campaigns — all with zero fluff, just solid execution.

You must understand western culture — jokes, memes, local references — to connect with our audiences. Fast-paced environment, fast results. We hire quickly and fire quicker if you don’t deliver.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule social media posts across multiple radio station accounts
  • Design sharp, on-brand graphics and visuals using Canva and Adobe Photoshop
  • Manage and update multiple WordPress sites (intermediate skills, no coding required)
  • Develop template-based design systems for efficient reuse and scalability
  • Support broader digital marketing campaigns as needed
  • Collaborate remotely with the marketing team, asking questions but owning your work
  • Monitor social media engagement and adjust content strategies based on data
  • Align content with station promotions, events, and real-time local culture
  • Adapt and take on new marketing tasks as the business grows

Requirements
  • Intermediate WordPress site management — content updates and maintenance
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling apps (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
  • Expert-level Canva skills, plus Adobe Photoshop proficiency
  • Solid grasp of western culture, memes, slang, and humor relevant to local radio audiences
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and own your results
  • Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration
  • Adaptability to rapidly shifting priorities and fast execution
