Accountant with Bookkeeping experience

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
  

Client Timezone: Australian Timezone (AEST/AEDT)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive accounting and tax support for clients in entertainment and hospitality industries
  
• Handle bookkeeping tasks for restaurants, coffee shops, film producers, and musicians
  
• Support the business owner with day-to-day accounting operations
  
• Manage client accounts with annual turnovers ranging up to 3 million dollars
  
• Assist with various accounting functions as the business continues to grow
  

Requirements

• Intermediate level accounting experience (not entry-level, but not requiring 20+ years)
  
• Strong bookkeeping skills and knowledge
  
• CPA/CA certification preferred, including candidates currently undertaking studies.
  
• Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses
  
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  
• Strong communication skills for client interaction
  
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems
